We completed our sixth week-long workshop yesterday with 29 students. We are tired and ready to get on the plane at 4pm on Sunday – tomorrow to start 31 hours of travel – Addis – Dubai – JFK and JFK to JAX. 21 hours in the air plus layovers = 31 hours! Also had our 8th and last negative PCR test and received the results early!

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Learning Cohort
We will be writing a summary analysis later but we do have some invitations to return in 2022 – Two workshops in Egypt (basic and advanced Mobile Filmmaking) and a two week Mobile Filmmaking workshop here in Addis sponsored by the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology. We also met with head at the Mekene Yesus Media Center (Ethiopian Lutheran Church) and discussed the inadequate situation to train media professionals and the great potential for training like ours and other media specializations.
We will be sending out some links of memorable projects when we return because we have wifi and electrical issues in Addis.
